Each camp is from 9am-12noon, Monday through Friday at
477 South Castell Avenue in New Braunfels.
Camps are $200 per session.
That includes: snack, supplies, instruction, and plenty of fun!
We welcome all campers between the ages of 5-13.
Campers will be provided with snack but should bring a water bottle with them.

Drawing Boot Camp
June 5th - 9th
For all of the drawing lovers out there - this one’s for you! We will start with the drawing basics in graphite and then use those skills on the rest of our projects. We will learn how to draw faces, people, still lifes, cityscapes - we’re going to do it all! Students will learn how to utilize graphite, charcoal, vine charcoal, soft pastel, oil pastel, sumi ink with pen nibs and brushes, carved sticks, and micron pens! Per the requests of our fans - we will indeed spend a day working in anime-style drawing.
June 12th - 15th
Miss Hannah’s favorite medium is painting and she is so excited to share it with students this summer! Students will create multiple paintings in a variety of shapes and sizes, as well as what it takes to make successful diptych and triptych paintings. This camp will introduce students to the basics and not-so-basics of painting. We will learn all the in’s, out’s, and history of: acrylic, watercolor, gouache, and oil paints. We still also study painting styles and techniques of famous painters and apply them to our own paintings. The week will end on a light note by forgetting the traditional means of painting on canvas and having a messy powder paint party!
June 19th - 23rd
Always in high demand is our fabulous clay camp! Each day students will learn and practice a new hand building technique: pinch pots, coiling, slab building, and relief sculpture. Students will build a variety of projects ranging from functional cups and teapots to abstract sculptures. Each student will get a private lesson on the wheel to round out their clay education. On the last day of camp, students will get to glaze all of their work with beautiful non-toxic and food safe glazes.
Hannah's Favorite Things
July 3rd - 7th
This week features all of Miss Hannah's favorite things! With earthenware clay we will hand build succulent pots, hanging planters, and roses which students will glaze with gorgeous glazes. Students will also get to make succulent and cactus arrangements in the planters that they built. In addition to hand building, campers will get their turn on the pottery wheel. We will make and personalize our own giant dream catchers to decorate the studio until students take them home. We will make flower crowns out of craft flowers that never lose their color or petals - and that definitely never go out of style! We will also explore different types of calligraphy using traditional calligraphy brushes, pen nibs, and sumi ink. For those with an itch to paint, we will make a series of oil paintings on miniature canvases using palette knives to achieve beautiful texture in our work.
Color the Rainbow
July 10th - 14th
This week will be the most colorful one of the summer. Students will really dive into color theory and explore the rainbow. We will make color wheels, splatter paint, make special paintings that POP when wearing 3D glasses, tie dye shirts and aprons, and so much more. We will explore color and it’s usage and values while through a wide variety of mediums. Campers will use acrylic paint, pastel, watercolor, dye, powdered pigments, and anything else colorful we will get our hands on. We will finish the camp by making crazy colorful cookies to take home.
July 24th - 28th
This came is all about sugar, spice, and everything nice. We will pamper ourselves to the max this week because we are princesses and deserve it! We will craft flower crowns with flowing ribbons and sparkles, create dazzling bracelets and necklaces, and design our dream castle and paint it on a canvas fit for a queen. Participating princesses will also bejewel and customize their aprons so that they can craft in style. We will also do manicures and dress up on our second to last day of camp for a princess styled photoshoot. We will make a personalized memory book with the photos from our shoot. It will certainly be a week to remember.
July 31st - August 4th
YAAARRRRRRG! Come explore the depths of the seas, sailing out from port Alla Prima. Students will make colorful nautically themed sand art, paint vibrant sunset beachscapes and each day campers will paint and learn about a different sea creature. We will “leave our handprints in the sand” by making impressions in earthenware clay. Students will also make their own sea shells out of clay, and learn how to sculpt sea creatures out of clay, and so much more!
Book Making & Illustration Camp
August 7th - 11th
Discover a new method of illustrating every day and try it out yourself! Collages, cartooning, painting and more! We will study illustrators of the past and present. Students will learn about a new artists and have new books to read every day! Learn about several different bookbinding techniques as well. Students will create their own books and an art journal! At the end of the week, each student will get to take home their own bookbinding tool kit.
Tropical Paradise Camp
August 14th - 18th
As summer begins to wind down and school supplies start taking over the stores, this camp offers an escape to paradise before vacation comes to an end. Campers will paint a daylight and sunset beachscape, tye dye a beach bag, customize some rockin’ sunglasses, sculpt palm trees out of clay and glaze them, make jelly fish to hang from the ceiling, and decorate fish shaped cookies! Students will finish out the week with an awesome luau party! We will bring in special themed snacks, slip-n-slides, a pool, beach balls, and more!
